IBM Plex Thai Looped
Mark Frömberg · Mark Frömberg, Ben Mitchell · 2018

A Thai extension of IBM Plex Sans in the loopless style, designed by Mark Frömberg and Ben Mitchell in 2018 to match the texture and rhythm of the broader Plex family.
About
Developed as part of IBM's global corporate typeface project, the loopless variant is intended primarily for larger sizes, complementing IBM Plex Sans across Latin and other supported scripts. Frömberg and Mitchell focused on mirroring the Plex texture within the Thai script, resulting in a typeface that integrates cohesively with the wider Plex superfamily. The font is released under the Open Font Licence and available freely via GitHub.
Classification
Thai extension of the IBM Plex Sans family, following the loopless convention suited to larger display sizes; pairs directly with the Latin Plex Sans in texture and rhythm.
