LDN Bow Script
London Type Foundry · Paul Harpin

A formal script drawn from a gilded stone memorial plaque to John Milton at Saint Mary-le-Bow, offering an extended Latin and Greek character set with small caps and six capital L alternates.
About
Inspired by John Dryden's epitaph to Milton, the letterforms carry an unusual stroke weight distribution – heavy at the top and bottom of lowercase letters – that reflects the plaque's penmanship origins rather than conventional stone-cutting. The single Regular weight is dense with alternate characters, swashes and ligatures suited to packaging, book covers and poetry setting. Greek letterforms are included in tribute to Milton's classical influences.
