Rooted in DIN 1451 and Ian Ritchie's signwriting background, Lüthold Sans translates a German signage tradition into a 12-style family spanning ExtraLight to Black with matching italics. Ink traps and contrast on spines and crossbars give the condensed forms more personality than a straight industrial revival. A companion Text family in medium width with lower contrast extends the range towards body copy use.
