Designed by Richard Lipton, whose 40-year background as a professional calligrapher underpins every letterform, Savanna Script achieves a taut, rapid energy uncommon in formal scripts. Three weights from Regular to Black, combined with multiple capital styles and OpenType alternates, give the family a flexibility rare for this genre. The square-edged pen model updates historical sources without historicising the result.
