About
Western Rose is built around a split-layer system: Outside and Inside fonts are designed to overlay precisely, letting designers apply different colours to the decorative fill and outline independently. The set also includes Regular, Spurs, Fancy and Full variants, each offering different levels of ornamental detail. The approach draws on Victorian sign-painting and wood type traditions common to American Western typography.
