Old Tom
Letterhead Fonts · Tom Kennedy

A six-font condensed display family drawing on late 19th-century French Condensed sign-painter lettering, complete with layerable 3D block shadows and highlights.
About
Designed by Tom Kennedy, the family comprises six fonts: a plain cut, a spurred variant and a four-piece poster set intended to be layered for dimensional shadow and highlight effects. The reference point is French Condensed lettering from the 1880s-1890s, the kind found in trade cards, circus bills and shop fascias of that period. The layering system allows for customisable colour combinations without third-party software trickery.
Classification
