Dublin specimen from Letterhead Fonts

An 8-font sign-lettering display family drawn from old glass signage, offering tall sharp-serif letterforms in regular, outline, shadow and thin cuts across two spur variants.

About

Designed by sign artist John Studden, Dublin pairs tall letterforms and sharp serifs with a practical set of layerable styles: Regular, Outline, Shadow and Thin are available in both a plain cut and a Spurs variant. Stacking the Outline fonts over the Regular versions produces a highlight effect common in traditional glass and enamel signage. Twenty-eight bonus alternates extend the compositional possibilities further.

Classification

A tall, sharp-serif display face inspired by vintage glass signage, with letterforms optimised for vertical layouts and strong visual impact at large sizes. The inclusion of outline, shadow and spur variants places it firmly in the ornamental display category.
