Confection Essentials specimen from Letterhead Fonts

A keystroke-driven ornamental font supplying 67 individually drawn panels, scrolls and frames in an early 1900s decorative style.

About

Each of the 67 glyphs produces a distinct ornamental panel or frame drawn by Tom Kennedy to match the aesthetic of early twentieth-century commercial engraving. The font is fully vector-based, meaning designs scale and recolour freely in any PostScript OpenType-capable application. It is designed as a companion to Kennedy's Confection and Bootcut typefaces.

Classification

A dingbat or ornamental font in which each keystroke produces a decorative panel, scroll or frame rather than an alphanumeric character. Styled after early 1900s decorative engraving traditions, it functions as a display/ornamental resource rather than a text typeface.
