Bootcut specimen from Letterhead Fonts

A Western-style display set in three variants — Regular, Spurs and Fancy — with small caps that sit slightly raised above the uppercase.

About

Designed by Tom Kennedy for Letterhead Fonts, Bootcut offers three distinct cuts of a single Western display face, each adding progressively more ornamental character. The Spurs variant introduces spur details typical of frontier-era wood type, while Fancy pushes further into decorative territory. Small caps are included and sit at a slightly elevated baseline position, distinguishing them visually from the full uppercase.

Classification

A decorative Western-style display typeface with three stylistic variants. The ornamental detailing, spur-enhanced and fancy cuts place it firmly in the American Western display tradition.
