Designed by Enrique Hernández and published in 2020, Winden draws from early twentieth-century slab serif traditions while grounding its construction in geometric forms. Trapezoid serifs give the standard family a crisp, modern quality, while the Alt subfamily softens corners into rounded edges for a more playful character. Both subfamilies cover 615 characters supporting over 200 Latin-based languages, making the family well suited to headlines, branding and packaging work.
