Sofia Mohr's 2021 design spans five weights from Ultra Light to Black, with the heavier cuts growing progressively more distinctive in character. Each weight has a stencil counterpart with expressive cuts, and four decorative Layers variants – three outline and one inline – are designed to overlap the black base weight for multi-colour compositions. The family is aimed at display use and short text settings where visual impact is the priority.
Classification
A geometric sans-serif with angular terminals and a large x-height. The design emphasises contrast between weight extremes, with increasingly distinctive letterforms as weight increases.
