Designed by Daniel Hernández in 2011, the typeface draws directly from historical sources: Spanish Civil War posters and the visual language of La Unidad Popular, the Chilean political coalition of the 1970s. Two styles – Regular and Italic – come with multiple OpenType alternate characters, giving designers flexibility when setting headlines, logotypes or poster compositions. Latin script coverage spans Basic Latin through to Pan Africa Latin, Turkish and Central European character sets.
