Merced specimen from Latinotype

A lively sans-serif from Daniel Hernández with curly, organic letterforms and an extensive set of alternates for flexible typesetting.

About

Released in 2011, Merced offers a fresh take on the sans-serif with rounded, informal strokes that give it a distinctly playful character. The family ships in two styles — Light and Light Italic — and its primary appeal lies in its alternate glyphs, which allow for considerable variation across words and passages. Language support covers a broad range of Latin-based scripts including Central European, Baltic, Turkish, Romanian and Pan Africa Latin.
