Lumiere
Latinotype · Jorge Cisterna, Bruno Jara · 2018

A 14-style display family inspired by Herb Lubalin's Serif Gothic, offering layered inline and shadow variants suited to album covers, movie posters and book jackets.
About
Designed by Jorge Cisterna and Bruno Jara and released in 2018, Lumiere draws from the Lubalin-era tradition of decorative serif lettering whilst adopting a cleaner, more simplified approach. The family splits into two variant types: multi-layered fonts for straightforward combination and single-layer fonts for designers who prefer to build their own stacked effects. Its retro character is balanced by a restrained structure that keeps it functional across a broad range of headline applications.
