A single-style dingbat font drawing on pre-Columbian Mapuche iconography from Chile, digitising handmade motifs from textiles and ceramics documented in Abel Gutiérrez's 1929 book.

About

Each glyph remakes traditional Mapuche artistic symbols with a freshened stroke, preserving the handcrafted quality of the original textile and ceramic work. The source material is Abel Gutiérrez's Dibujos Indígenas de Chile (1929), a significant document of indigenous visual culture. The result is a culturally specific ornament set suited to editorial and design contexts referencing South American heritage.
