An 11-style hand-drawn type system rooted in the DIY counterculture, blending brush scripts, a Gill-proportioned sans, slab variants and illustrated ornaments into a cohesive hand-lettered family.
About
Designed by Luciano Vergara and Guisela Mendoza in 2014, the family spans from organic brush and hand styles through to structured sans-serif and slab cuts, all unified by a hand-crafted sensibility. Supplementary styles include compound words tailored to small-farm and artisan contexts, plus a full dingbat and ornament set. The sans cuts draw on classic Gill proportions while retaining a hand-drawn warmth that ties them to the rest of the system.
Classification
