Andes Rounded specimen from Latinotype

A rounded display variant of Daniel Hernández's Andes family, offering ten weights with matching italics and condensed cuts in a neo-humanist sans construction.

About

Andes Rounded softens the terminals of the underlying Andes design, which is itself rooted in neo-humanist principles and shares heritage with Hernández's earlier Merced. The full family spans ten upright weights from UltraLight to Black, each matched by italic and condensed counterparts. Additional italic alternates for a, y, z and g provide typographic emphasis within running text.

Classification

Described as neo-humanist with mixed terminal styles, the rounded variant shares the humanist sans construction of the Andes family with softened stroke endings throughout.
