About
Newzald takes its cues from J.F. Rosart and J.M. Fleischman, 18th-century Dutch punchcutters known for their economical rigour. The large x-height and subtly condensed proportions let it carry many words per column without looking cramped. Released in 2008, it is a capable workhorse for newspaper and magazine text environments, offered in four weights each with a roman and italic.
