A single-style digitisation of Rudolf Koch's rare swash capitals variant of Kabel, originally released by the Klingspor Foundry in 1927 and seldom seen in surviving printed examples.

Drawing from a Klingspor specimen booklet that appears never to have found commercial uptake in its own era, the design pairs Koch's ornamental swash uppercase with a geometric sans lowercase. Justin Penner revised his 2017 student project for the 2020 release, improving drawing quality and reducing the extreme height disparity between capitals and lowercase. The result supports 233 languages across Latin Extended script, with tabular and oldstyle numerals, fractions and alternate glyphs including two eszett variants and an alternate ampersand.
Classification
A geometric sans-serif based on Rudolf Koch's Kabel (1927), distinguished by its swash uppercase letters drawn from a rare Klingspor variant. The swash capitals give it an ornamental, display character despite the geometric sans foundation.
