MegaMegaTypeType
A decorative modern serif with joining ligatures available in regular and condensed styles, aimed at branding, logos and invitations.
About
Basgem offers four styles – Regular, Italic, Condensed and Condensed Italic – each built around ornamental ligatures intended to give the letterforms a flowing, distinctive quality. OpenType features include alternates, stylistic sets and kerning. The design targets display and short-copy applications rather than extended text setting.
Classification
A high-contrast modern serif with decorative ligatures and a display-oriented character, placing it in the tradition of stylised didone-influenced display typefaces.
