About
Originally conceived as an all-caps font completed in a single sitting, Escape grew into a fully developed family with both upper and lowercase, the latter proving a particular design challenge given the typeface's substantial stroke weight. Contextual alternates and discretionary ligatures expand its expressive range, allowing it to shift between quirky charm and urgent intensity. An Oblique accompanies the Regular, and OpenType features include small caps and old-style figures.
