About
Cluster is built on a single design principle: no curves. Every letterform is constructed from angular strokes grouped into deliberate families of similar angles, producing a rhythm and cohesion unusual for blackletter. The result is a display face with strong textural evenness that suits branding contexts demanding an aggressive or dramatic presence. OpenType features include contextual alternates, discretionary ligatures, small caps and old-style figures.
Classification
A contemporary blackletter with no curves whatsoever, using only angular strokes and sharp diagonals throughout. This places it firmly in the blackletter category but as a modernised, display-oriented interpretation rather than a traditional textura or fraktur.
