Verao offers two sets of lowercase alternates without connectors, a swash endings set, stylistic substitutions and ligatures, giving designers considerable flexibility while maintaining the look of genuine handcraft. The imperfect elegance of each character is intentional, pulling against the rigidity of more structured typefaces. Production assistance was provided by Lucas Azevedo.
