Sancoale Softened retains the geometric, slightly condensed structure and tall x-height of the parent family while applying rounded terminals that avoid the bloated look common to many rounded fonts. The design aims for a friendly, approachable feel with a mild technological character, making it suited to both text and display use. OpenType features include small caps, old-style and lining figures, fractions, superiors, inferiors and alternates, with coverage for over 40 Latin-script languages.
