Pauline Script

A vintage-inspired monoline connected script with geometric roots in 1930s sans serifs, offering contextual alternates, discretionary ligatures and a range of weights.
About
Derived from the earlier Pauline typeface (2008), Pauline Script reintroduces connectors to the original geometric letterforms alongside an optically corrected dynamic slant. Tall ascenders and descenders reinforce its distinctive character, while contextual alternates and discretionary ligatures give control over letter connections. The design sits between Art Deco signage tradition and contemporary script lettering, suited to invitations, logos and signage.
Classification
A connected script with minimal stroke contrast and a dynamic slant, drawing from retro and Art Deco connected script traditions. The geometric underpinning from 1930s sans serifs like Futura distinguishes it from purely calligraphic scripts.
