Boncaire Titling takes its reference from period maps held at the Norman B. Leventhal Map Center in Boston, capturing the distinctive letterforms produced by copper-plate engraving rather than smoothing them into a conventional revival. Six weights from Thin to Black are accompanied by an extensive OpenType feature set: over 30 auto-replacing ligatures, alternate capitals, titling small caps, old-style and lining figures, fractions, and superiors and inferiors. Extended Latin coverage supports more than 40 languages across Central, Eastern and Western European writing systems.
