Aviano Silk emerged from insigne's annual tradition of expanding the Aviano family, winning selection through a public poll of the studio's social media followers. Its combination of stencil structure and centreline detailing creates smooth, open negative space that the foundry describes as giving a silk-like quality to reading. Extended characters heighten the sense of formal occasion, making it suited to high-end branding work, though it cannot be overlaid directly onto other Aviano family members.
