Built on classical Aviano proportions, Aviano Didone applies the extreme vertical contrast typical of the Didone genre whilst incorporating extended letterforms for added presence. Five style sets unlock ball terminals, flat serifs, swash characters and small forms, alongside 40 discretionary ligatures for decorative typographic work. The family is designed to complement the wider Aviano series, which includes sans, slab and serif companions.

High-contrast vertical stress with hairline serifs and abrupt thick-to-thin transitions place this squarely in the Didone or Modern classification. The foundry explicitly describes it as a Didone face with Art Deco alternates layered over classical proportions.
