Aviano Copper specimen from Insignedesign

A wide, wedge-serif display face inspired by early 20th-century copper intaglio printing, extending the Aviano family with swashes, stylistic sets and approximately 1,000 glyphs per weight.

About

Built on the proportions of Aviano Sans with small wedge serifs added for refinement, the design channels the personal correspondence and business printing of America's Gilded Age. Each weight ships with around 1,000 glyphs, covering old-style figures, tabular figures, superscripts, swash alternates, unique ligatures and five stylistic sets. The family spans thin to black and supports all Latin-based languages, making it well suited to headings, logos, letterhead and label work.

Classification

A wide, wedge-serif display face derived from Aviano Sans, with small wedge serifs added to create a refined, high-contrast letterform inspired by early 20th-century copper intaglio printing. The broad proportions and decorative details place it firmly in the display serif category.
