Conté Script Plus
IngoFonts · Ingo

A pencil-handwriting script built around over 300 OpenType ligatures that vary letterforms depending on their neighbours, closely replicating the natural inconsistency of everyday written text.
About
The source material is the designer's own daily handwriting, drawn with a soft pencil on a notepad, and the font preserves the characteristic texture of graphite: crumbling where pressure eases and densely dark where it bears down. Ligatures alter individual letters contextually, so the same character rarely appears identical twice, and doubled letters and numerals also receive alternative forms. The typeface reads most convincingly at around 18 to 20 points.
Classification
