Chiq specimen from IngoFonts

A geometric display family derived from Apple's Chicago screen font, extended into a variable font spanning multiple weights and widths with a companion shadow layer face called Shad.

About

Built on deliberately minimal vector construction, Chiq revives the angular, regular forms of Apple's classic Chicago system font and expands them far beyond the original single weight. The family runs from Light to Black across Normal to Ultra Expanded widths, with italics, and ships as a variable font for continuous interpolation across all axes. A companion face, Shad, provides matching shadow letterforms as a transparent layer font, enabling stacked typographic effects with an optional three-dimensional quality.

Classification

A geometric display type family derived from Apple's Chicago bitmap screen font, constructed on simple vector principles with high regularity and expanding contrast toward heavier weights. The UltraExpanded variant and decorative intent place it firmly in the display category.
