Biró Script

A ballpoint-pen handwriting digitised with over 300 contextual ligatures to mimic the irregular, repetition-free appearance of genuine everyday script.
About
Unlike calligraphic or brush-script typefaces, Biró Script reproduces the deliberately unrefined quality of ordinary ballpoint handwriting, with a uniformly thin stroke and no thick-thin contrast. Over 300 ligature pairs are built into the OpenType logic, substituting common letter combinations automatically so that individual characters rarely repeat in running text. The foundry recommends setting at 18–22pt for the stroke width to convincingly match that of a real ballpoint pen.
Classification
A digitised everyday ballpoint-pen handwriting, not calligraphic or brush-based. The uniform stroke width (no thick-thin contrast) and casual letterforms place it firmly in the casual handwritten script subcategory.
