Designed by Jonny Pinhorn, the family follows traditional Malayalam-script patterns, with round forms and stroke contrast that increases noticeably as weights progress. The Regular and Medium are suited to body text, the Semibold serves well for in-text emphasis, and the Bold is recommended for headlines. The even colour produced across running text is a deliberate priority of the design.
