A neo-grotesque family of ten styles spanning five weights with matching italics, designed with a tall x-height, regularised construction and minimal optical correction for versatile corporate and screen use.
About
Developed by Deni Anggara and released in 2018, Neurial Grotesk takes its cues from International Style modernism, pairing regularised letterforms with carefully crafted diacritics and a tall x-height. Uppercase letters contain no descending elements, with both 'J' and 'Q' kept strictly between baseline and cap-height, and lowercase diacritics scaled to align near the cap-height. Each font includes two forms of the lowercase 'a', alongside Roman numerals, arrow glyphs and geometric shapes for added utility.
Classification
Heavily constructed neo-grotesque with regularised widths, minimal stroke modulation and little optical correction, drawing from twentieth-century International Style modernism.
