MegaMegaTypeType
A three-font collection reviving the mid-century commercial lettering shop tradition, with each style using intelligent OpenType engineering to replicate the contextual variation of genuine hand-lettered work.
About
Swing, Slant and Sable each approach the vocabulary of American studio lettering from a different angle, deploying contextual alternates, connecting ligatures, initial and final forms to avoid mechanical repetition. Culture-specific stylistic sets reflect regional handwriting customs drawn from writing textbooks, historical models and interviews with native speakers and lettering artists. A companion Shapes font and oversized swash initial caps round out the collection for advertising and editorial use.
Classification
