MegaMegaTypeType
A relaxed, character-led display sans-serif from Hoodzpah's in-house Hood Fonts label, offered in four weights with matching italics across 20 styles.
About
Designed by Amy and Jen Hood and released in March 2022, Venice Blvd takes its cues from the laid-back, sun-bleached personality of its Los Angeles namesake. Four weights run from Regular to Black, each with an italic companion, giving it enough range for varied display and branding work. Language support is broad, covering an extensive range of Latin-script languages worldwide.
Classification
A display sans-serif with a casual, characterful quality suited to headlines and branding; the page explicitly describes it as a sans-serif display typeface, and its range of weights with italics places it squarely in that category.
