Nils carries small caps, old-style and tabular figures, case-sensitive punctuation and a slant axis alongside the usual weight axis, which is more equipment than most eight-style families bring. The detailing comes from mid-century neon signage, so the joints and terminals have more going on than a plain grotesque. Drawn in 2011 and rebuilt for 2026.
