A tall, sharp editorial serif in fourteen styles, first drawn for SSAW magazine and since set loose on its own.
About
Haikara runs Thin to Black with an italic for every weight, and its stretched proportions were built for magazine-sized type. The name is Finnish for stork, which fits the elongated look. It began life as SSAW Serif before the studio revised it and released it properly.
Classification
Seven weights from Thin to Black with a full italic set, drawn tall and sharp for editorial display. Sold with a weight axis, and originally cut for a fashion magazine.
