MegaMegaTypeType
A two-style book serif with a deep ligature set, made for long stretches of reading.
About
Bookish comes as Book and Italic, and its ligature table does the heavy lifting: fifteen standard ligatures plus a discretionary ct. The drawing is traditional and quiet, which is what a text face for continuous reading needs. It later became the starting point for the studio's custom work for Off-White.
Classification
A two-style book serif, Book plus Italic, with an unusually deep ligature set covering fb, ff, fh, fi, fj, fk, fl, ft and their triple forms. Built for continuous reading.
