Burly
Haus Type · Henric Bech Sjösten

A space-hungry display sans in four widths and five optical sizes, with a variable font spanning the full range.
About
Designed by Henric Bech Sjösten, Burly is built on the premise of occupying every available unit of horizontal space, offered from Condensed through to Ultra Expanded. Five optical sizes per width variant give precise control from small text to large headline use. Purchasing the complete family unlocks a variable font that interpolates continuously across all widths and sizes.
Classification
An all-caps or headline-oriented sans-serif designed explicitly to fill space, offered in four widths from Condensed to Ultra Expanded across five optical sizes, suggesting a display-focused grotesque with strong proportional ambition.
