About
Rather than a straight revival, GS Merca reinterprets the original market facade lettering with a stencil-like quality and a deliberately rebellious edge. A newly designed lowercase extends the vocabulary of the uppercase source material, giving the typeface enough range to work across vernacular and contemporary contexts. Wide Latin language support makes it practically useful despite its narrow stylistic focus.
