GT Flexa specimen from Grilli Type

A 112-style grotesque by Dominik Huber and Marc Kappeler spanning eight widths from X Compressed to X Expanded, with a monospaced variant and a distinctive Lazer weight throughout.

About

Released by Grilli Type in 2020, GT Flexa treats the typeface as a fluid design space rather than a fixed set of styles. Eight width variants run from X Compressed to X Expanded, each offering seven weights from Lazer to Black with matching italics, plus a full Mono subfamily. OpenType features include rounded punctuation, a single-storey 'a' and a half-crossbar 'f' and 't', giving designers fine control over the typeface's personality.

Classification

GT Flexa is a variable grotesque sans-serif spanning eight widths from X Compressed to X Expanded, including a monospaced variant, with a fluid design space philosophy underpinning its 112-style system.
