About
Designed by Pablo Balcells in 2014 as the stencil counterpart to the Tecnica Slab family, it provides two distinct stem treatments: Stencil 1 with a narrow stem for large sizes and rigid substrates, and Stencil 2 with a wider stem for smaller sizes and lighter materials. Each variant is offered in Regular and Bold, with additional alternates for both weights. The dual-variant structure gives the family practical range across different production constraints.
Classification
A stencil variant of a slab serif family, featuring bracketed serifs interrupted by stencil cuts. Two stem-width variants (Stencil 1 and Stencil 2) optimise the design for different printing contexts and scales.
