Designed by Pablo Balcells in 2019 and released in 2020, Naftera combines geometric construction with decorative swash characters and rounded endings, producing a typeface that reads as both strong and refined. The family spans ten styles in total, eight of which include small caps and broad language support, with two styles available free. Its intended use is display work: logos, headlines and short copy rather than extended body text.
