Sometype Mono

About

Sometype Mono avoids the retro affectations of many monospace fonts, instead offering a straightforward geometric approach with open letterforms and consistent rhythm. It performs reliably in code editors and terminal environments while remaining composed enough for tabular data and UI contexts. The four-weight range covers most practical needs without overcomplicating the family.

Classification

Sometype Mono is a clean, geometric monospace with open apertures and consistent stroke weights that prioritise legibility. Its design leans modern rather than retro, avoiding the quirky idiosyncrasies common in coding-focused monospaces.
