DGM Fette specimen from Giulia Boggio

Semi-revival of the 1956 Breite Fette Information, known from the Bullitt title sequence.

About

DGM Fette revives Friedrich K. Sallwey's ultra-wide grotesque, originally cast by Klingspor in 1956 as an extension of the Information family. The single weight is massively extended and heavy, with tightly closed bowls and the squared-off joins of mid-century German grotesque design. Best suited to posters and title settings at large scale.

Classification

A semi-revival of Breite Fette Information, an ultra-wide, ultra-heavy grotesque originally cast by Klingspor in 1956. The extreme width and single heavy weight place it firmly in the display category. Supports Latin, Cyrillic and Greek across 694 glyphs.
