A single-weight Ethiopic handwriting font with embedded ruling lines, designed as part of a 14-typeface collection to teach children Geʾez script handwriting.
About
The ruling lines overlaid within each glyph simulate the lined pages of a notebook, helping young learners perceive letter proportions and anchor characters to a shared baseline. It covers the full Ethiopic Unicode block (U+1200–U+137F) and supplement (U+1380–U+139F), totalling 564 glyphs, and is distributed under the SIL Open Font License. The project originates from a GitHub repository maintained by raeytype alongside 13 companion handwriting fonts.
