A cló Gaelach sans for the Irish language, setting the insular forms of Gaelic type in a clean, modern line.
About
Dominic Gallagher drew Anois Sans to bring cló Gaelach, the Gaelic script, back into everyday Irish design. Stylistic sets switch between insular and Béarla forms, and it carries the buailte dot, geographic ligatures and a Tironian et. Seven weights with italics and a variable weight axis, first drawn in 2023 and released in June 2026.
Classification
A sans-serif cló Gaelach: insular Gaelic letterforms by default, with stylistic sets for Béarla (roman) forms, alternate e and the Tironian et, plus buailte (dot-above lenition) support.
