FbTubic Sans
FontBit · Nadav Ezra · 2022

A six-weight Hebrew sans-serif released in 2022, merging blocky and rounded letterform structures with a thorough, uncompromising approach to removing serifs across the entire alphabet.
About
FbTubic Sans sits within a historically young genre: Hebrew sans-serifs only began appearing in the late 1950s, initially for film subtitling, with familiar forms such as Narkis Tam following later. The designer Nadav Ezra addresses the genre's relative immaturity by fusing blocky and rounded Hebrew structures, and extends the sans-serif logic even to letters like Nun and Gimel that conventionally retain terminal strokes. Six weights from Thin to Black serve both display and text settings in Hebrew and Latin.
Classification
A Hebrew sans-serif with no serifs, blending blocky and rounded structural forms. The designer explicitly extends the sans approach to letters such as Nun and Gimel, pushing the genre further than conventional Hebrew sans-serifs.
