Nika follows the Naskh calligraphic tradition, making it well suited to body text in Persian and Arabic publishing contexts. Released under the SIL Open Font Licence, it is freely available and installable via the Kateb font manager on Linux systems. The project is community-supported and maintained on GitHub.
